Merits of this handset:

It has two ports for connecting the earphone jack - the one is samsung proprietory multi-pin socket(see image below) that goes inside the charging socket of this phone and the other one is the standard 3.5mm standard stereo socket so that you can connect the earphone that comes along with this phone and the one that is the standard stereo one that is easily available in the market.

Demerits:

Does not have camera and pc-connectivity. Nor it has browser, so you cannot surf internet as well. In short we can say that it is good for calling purposes plus other features like music playback, fm transmission, bluetooth adds to its features.

The drawback is that you cannot connect any data cable to it and hence the data of the phone cannot be backed up.

It does not have chat applications installed so you cannot be socially online on this phone.

The earphone that comes along with this phone is not the standard one and hence can be used with this phone only.

Overall: It is a very low priced handset but the features that it has makes it a must have handset.
